Privacy

This site keeps a limited log of public page visits to understand how the site is used.

What is recorded

Entries may include the time and page visited, referring site or campaign, approximate city and region, network organization, device and browser type, and whether the request appears automated. The log does not store names, email addresses, raw IP addresses, exact locations, full user-agent strings, or LinkedIn account identities. It does not use third-party analytics or identity services.

Retention and access

Detailed visit entries are kept for up to 30 days and are visible only through a protected admin page. A first-party cookie can exclude the site owner’s browser from the detailed log.

Daily aggregate counts may be kept for up to 800 days. These aggregates contain only the UTC day, page path, broad human or reported-crawler classification, reported crawler name, source category and name, and a pageview count. They do not contain city, region, network organization, device, browser, campaign values, cookies, IP addresses, or other visitor identifiers.

Because aggregate counts contain no visitor identifier, they cannot be associated with or removed for an individual deletion request. To ask about detailed visit data or request deletion while it remains available, contact Matthew through LinkedIn.

Game scores

Cobalt Breaker stores a random player identifier, three initials, score, level, play duration, game version, and achievement time when a player submits to a global leaderboard. Preview and public leaderboards are kept separate. The site does not retain a raw IP address with a score. Scores remain until they are moderated or deleted; contact Matthew through LinkedIn and include the player identifier shown by the game if you want a score removed.
